Premier contact (Arrival en version originale) est un film de science-fiction américain sorti en 2016, réalisé par Denis Villeneuve. Il s'agit d'une adaptation d'une nouvelle de Ted Chiang, L'Histoire de ta vie (Story of Your Life), parue en 1998.

Synopsis:
Lorsque de mystérieux vaisseaux venus du fond de l'espace surgissent un peu partout sur Terre, une équipe d'experts est rassemblée sous la direction de la linguiste Louise Banks afin de tenter de comprendre leurs intentions.
Face à l'énigme que constituent leur présence et leurs messages mystérieux, les réactions dans le monde sont extrêmes et l'humanité se retrouve bientôt au bord d'une guerre absolue. Louise Banks et son équipe n'ont que très peu de temps pour trouver des réponses. Pour les obtenir, la jeune femme va prendre un risque qui pourrait non seulement lui coûter la vie, mais détruire le genre humain...

Un film de science-fiction vraiment grandiose ! Je trouve le scénario vraiment original et très bien travaillé, la mise en scène superbe, la bande originale magnifique et les plans à tomber ! C'est un film vraiment captivant, du début à la fin. Contrairement à la plupart des films faisant intervenir des extraterrestres, ici point de violence, tout est dans le pacifisme et la discussion. Et c'est là l'une des grandes forces du film. L'univers visuel créé est exceptionnel: tout est très épuré et laisse ainsi libre cours à notre imagination. L'histoire est plutôt complexe, un vrai puzzle de 2 heures mais le dénouement final est exquis. Enfin le casting est vraiment parfait: Amy Adams est juste époustouflante dans ce rôle et Jeremy Renner offre une superbe prestation tout en sobriété. Bref un magnifique film que je vous conseille vivement.

j'ai adoré ce début de saison ,il y a les moments Jack et Rebecca dans le passé qui deviennet un peu redondants je trouve ,et longuets ,encore que j'ai aimé par exemple l'ep où Jack et Rebecca reçoivent le prof de Randall à dîner !

oui hihi mais dès qu'on a des images d'intéreurs on sait de suite dans quel contexte on est tout de même ,car en dehors des bureaux de la CIA, on a Berlin avec des pièces plus rétros en 1973 ,et dans le présent la Corée et l'Inde ,on voyage pas mal accompagnant les différents protagonistes :)

Le fait que la série ait été tournée à Budapest doit vraiment donner de très belles images non?

quelquefois oui ( ce doit être plutôt pour la partie Berlin à mon avis ) mais on a aussi des scènes en Corée du Nord et les paysages sont forcément très différents :)
